The Encore series of three piano books is fantastic for young advancing pianists.They are easy to read, well edited and the repertoire is fresh, worthwhile and useful. The sounds are some of the most satisfying in the piano literature, even though these are mostly short studies, nocturnes, mazurkas or modern sketches. These pieces lay in the ear and the hand and are as cool to teach as they are to learn. Great stuff!
