Operatic Anthology - Volume 3: Tenor and Piano (Vocal Collection) [Paperback] Review

I'd have given the collection 5 stars if the translations were better!Seriously, the selected arias are all fantastic and many are commonly used for recital pieces.The translator takes poetic license with the English lyrics, so you may be better served to go to the Aria Database to get a more realistic text.As a singer, you can't effectively tie music and text together to tell a story if you don't trust the translation.I certainly wouldn't let that stop you, though, I've had a blast reading through these arias!
