Thelonious Monk - Easy Piano Solos [Paperback] Review

My teacher turned me onto this book and I really enjoy playing the songs.It is not too easy but certainly not at the level Monk played the songs either.....just about right for advanced beginners.I just start out slowly and build up speed to an average of the 140 clicks with swing feel that most songs require.I hope I will finally make it up to that tempo.You will enjoy working on the technique for hours and it's great to add some of these Monk classics to your portfolio.
