Eric Clapton - From the Album Eric Clapton Unplugged [Paperback] Review

This version of the book is the "fake book" version, as opposed to the actual transcriptions in the "from the album" version. While it is a perfectly adequate guide to the general structure of thetunes, the actual chord inversions, lead lines, picking patterns and fills are not even suggested here. If you want to play what's on the album, getthe transcribed version.

Poems, Prayers and Promises: The Art and Soul of John Denver (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) [Paperback] Review

Being a huge JD fan, and a guitar player, I felt compelled to buy the song book.I wish all the songs had tabulature however, since I currently cannot read standard notation.I also wish Cherry Lane had put some additional John Denver photo's and other stories from others. The book is good and I recommend it to anyone who is a JD fan will get a lot out of it.
I would have given this 5 stars, but due to the things mentioned above, I feel like 4 is fair.
Sure do miss the music and the man!
